its sanded down. just needs to be buffed. and yeah it was a mud hole at that show.

one question i was wondering, is if you wanna drag while your driving, where would you put some blocks to drag? and what would they look like ? cuz i have been wondering

i drag the front subframe. im going to build something to drag the back but not sure how im gonna do it. it needs to be in the right spot or you can cause the rear end to slide and lose control. ill post pics when i get a chance to work on it.

mount it on a sliding box spring.........enuf to drag but gives over irregularitiesand doesn't umload the rear....easily fabbed

Not for nothing, but if you're gonna hang a pillow block bearing upside down like that, you should use one that has a malleable iron housing that will stand up to abuse from shock and road hazards.

its way up out of the way. i will replace them eventually with urethane bushings just cause they rattle. ill trade the rattle for squeek i guess.

no pic..just think of two boxes, one sliding inside the other one,,except you'll use square tubing of diferent sizes,,the spring goes inside the recieving tube...ok,,think of a Reese hitch !...if you slot the sides and install a bolt it will limit the travel so it doesn't come apart....can use round tubing also which would capture the spring better.....
another ex is a wheel assemble that collapses so that the rolling unit becomes weight anchored like a jack
