I just put the car up on jack stands and checked the underside. Everything seems fine. I think it would have taken one heck of a hit to bend anything also oldblue. No broken welds or rust through spots where the arm meets the axle beam. The polished 18" rims all look fine except for minor curb rash. The bearings felt OK but very free wheeling. Almost too much, so I put a Starrett last word dial indicator on the wheel rim edge. I pushed and pulled in and out on the tire edge and I was able to get a .015" linear movement from the hub bearings, read at the edge of the rim. It was a little less on the left at .010" and .015" at the right. I think .015" at about 9" out on the rim from hub center could possibly yield a radial measurement of .5 deg or so. Enough to cause an alignment problem, as you guys have been saying.
Replacing both hubs, I hope Advance Auto has them in stock so I can "git 'er dun" today.
Thanks guys!
thanks for the geometry of the rear donbrew, very helpful to understand this little cart.

Try the interwebs , I just got a note from one of my suppliers, a sale on hubs!

Just for instance, try that at your local parts palace
