Service Traction light on
Hello,
I have a 2010 hhr which has the service traction light and the service evb(?) light come on. When I acknowledge it, it clears off the message bar, but the warning lights atay on. I took it to Auto Zone where they said the computer says there's a problem with the front left wheel/sensor. On a potentially similar note, I replaced the bearing hub assembly about 8 months ago due to a "whirling" noise on the front left wheel. I just checked the plug behind the wheel, and it is properly plugged in. The cables appear good. If I were to check with an ohmmeter, should I read continuity?
Recent development yesterday: In COLD Chicago weather, I went to give it gas, and it felt as if the car stalled. It did not let me give it gas unless I was in low gear. I can understand this occurring if traction control works, but it doesn't. When I brake on ice, it has the feel of the old brake system, not the brake/release/brake, etc 100 times every second.
Any ideas? This car has had too many problems with 70k miles. Thanks in advance.

Here's a thread with info on testing wheel speed sensors.
