i did the upgrade over the weekend with the Powerstop kit from Rock Auto. I tow a trailer and could use the stronger brakes. My old ones were spongy. I did have to tweak the metal dust shields as they wanted to rub the larger brakes.

chrispacekc- Nice up-grade. If you ever wanna take that to the next level. replace the rubber brake hoses with braided stainless ones.

They do not expand upon hard braking.

PS: Looks great with your sharp mags also.

Those are a great upgrade, larger rotors, new red powdercoat calipers and caliper brackets! Yes the next step would be the brake hoses .

‘yes I was thinking about the stainless lines At the time I was installing. I’m pretty shocked at how great a set of brakes can look when walking back to your parked car. The stopping power was increased a great amount.

i wrecked my SS 3 weeks ago. So I have a rear axel all ready to go. I may have to do the swap.
