Jeez... same rattle with my '07...
New User here, love the forum and the car! My skate rat son thinks it is cool and my LAX daughter loves the tailgate-ability at games!
SO... I have an '07 purchased with 40k on it about 3 months ago. All of a sudden I'm getting that same clunk on drivers side. It is like a clunk on "some" bumps, a "rattle" at certain speeds. I would associate it with a failed MacPherson strut but I'm hearing that it probably is not that. MY take would be to ignore warranty service if it is a bushing which will just fail again. I will probably take it to my local guy. Tony, can we view that service bulletin soemwhere or is that internal distribute only? Also, I read here about someone who replaced tie-rod ends with after market, I'm guessing they were MOOG, any info on that part? Also, anyone have MacPherson strut fail info? Usually these struts last longer than 45k but a gas leak in a cheap one will fail them sooner.
Thanks!
