Shock absorbers do not affect the height, unless they are too short and pull the springs down. Shorter springs lower the car.
People just won't believe me when I say that the shocks are worn out after 30,000 miles leaking or not. A lot of the "warped rotor" goes away with new shocks.
Monroe used to actually recommend changing shock every 30,000 miles, When they cost less than $15 each.

Don I know the ride height concern drives ya nuts 😎. Never had a vehicle with sport suspension as my 1994 Z28 Camaro didn’t have any option unless you did the SS package like I did but with lowering springs. So what a equal replacement.
To to be honest I have no idea about the 30,000 mile mark. I just looked for bad ride/handling and noise with higher mileage for shocks an struts. Would think this day an age they both would last till 1,000 mile mark like other maintenance.
