I reviewed your link to that brake kit. Appears to be a really good set up......especially the e-coating. It looks like it's a big difference from the e-bay type rotors.

I used a set of e-coating rotors when I did the brake job on my HHR. the rotors were supplied by a GM engineer as gratus, since GM was providing that type of rotor on some 2016 models. He sent a set of rotors to my car in as a favor. Sold my car a year ago to a friend and saw it about a month ago. Still no problems. He loves the car and put about 25,000 miles on it since he purchased it.

the HHR SS caliper brackets show as

22705376 CALIPER SUPPORT, LEFT

22705377 CALIPER SUPPORT, RIGHT

they show as they also fit 2009 to 2012 Chevy Malibu's , so perhaps a trip to the local pick a part

I also recommend adding splash shields

25884778 SPLASH SHIELD, RIGHT
25884779 SPLASH SHIELD, LEFT

they seem to help with salt and sand on our winter roads

Hi Tony. Who exactly are you asking ? Besides, this thread died out over 3 years ago.

teepee2 is Tony.
And he’s referring to paperboy’s post about having the parts, I suggest you send him a PM or simply order the parts , we get a discount from RockAuto.

Thanks for the info Steve. Since paperboy hasn't been on this site in 3 years, slim chance he's still got the parts or that you'll get a response from him.
Agree. The best bet is to order them.

The SS calliper is smaller diameter then the LS/LT callipers . Better braking with the stock callipers
