Aren't they $10 per pair? And wouldn't you need 4 pair (1 pair per spring)? That would be $40.
Where did you find yours?
Thanks.

I bought them once for a different car at Auto Zone and Advance Auto both. The only downside I found to them is you have to make sure they don't rub on anything once bolted down. Make sure brake lines are clear, suspension parts, just make sure.

The number you need depends on the drop you want. I only used one on each spring and that lowered it to where I personally wanted it. If you use two, the drop will be more dramatic. In fact, I would say it will lower it to where it's lower than the front with two sets on there. I got mine at Pep Boys and they were $9.99 for a set of two.

I'm guessing that these can't be used on the front spring due to the strut, right?

No, I've never had any luck with struts with these clamps due to clearance problems, but it's not an issue on the rears. Like I said, this is just a quick, cheap, alternate way to "level" your vehicle on the back side to give it a lower stance. By all means, if you want the slammed look, then new aftermarket springs is the way to go.

I will post pics soon. Good luck with whichever way you decide to go. Try the clamps! I don't think you will regret it.

Well, there's only about a 0.5" difference between the front and rear on my HHR as it is. I don't think clamping the rear springs 1" would work. My thinking was that you could clamp the front springs too, but I don't think that would work. Looks like I'll have to buy lowered springs if I want to do it right.
Thanks for your help/info.

The clamps will fit on the front too. I tried them before putting a pair in the rear, Now I just need to decide if I want to lower it, or leave it. LS

Did you take any pics? It doesn't look like there's much room for clamps on the front.

I did not take pics of the clamps on the front, but they do clear. Here is a pic of how much one clamp will lower the rear. LS
