Hi folks Pyro here...a few weeks back I had to be the bearer of some bad news...but I guess the good lord had other plans for us and our event..as some of you know..I am very well connected with our local food bank and do what I can to help out...the other day I was around back and by chance I was driving old PYRO...I couldn't help notice the line up at the food bank...I thought to myself.(kind like if u build it they will come type of thing).this isn't right..I live in a very wealthy township...this is wine country not downtown..around here its not much rental..all nice older century homes...vinyards..you get the idea...not the place you would assume a lot of folks need assistance...I guess I was wrong...I thought to myself "how can I just sit here in a ride like this...and do nothing about it"alot of us wish for shiny parts and lights and things that make us go faster or make us smile bigger when people say to us...nice car...well for some, the biggest wish is to have something to eat...our club has been a proud supporter of the food bank in the past...my morals will not let me turn my back on this organization just because I feel Im too busy...yes Im swamped with weekly tasks...and no I don't have a lot of help as many of our members are scattered too far apart..but in my gut I know I can make some time if I had too to keep this going..i hope all of you feel the same way and accept my apology for causing confusion over the HHR Nats....THE SHOW MUST GO ON!!!!AUG 10TH...PUDDICOMBE ESTATES...1468 HWY 8 GRIMSBY ONTARIO ...10 AM TO 4PM....NO CHARGE EVENT BUT PLEASE BRING A FOOD DONATION FOR THE FOOD BANK!!!!

 

nice write-up..and totally agree, gota give back to the community and to those who dont have as much as others do! HHR Nats/Cannonball lives on! wooo!

 

I'll be there, never mind the bells on, but donations to the food bank as requested, sir yes sir!!!!

 

You know Im in for the show. However Ill be visiting family on the east coast for two weeks before that, so I cant really help organize much.

 

no worries Prod..Im an old pro at this...Larry does his best to help out but it looks like all the other club staff are a nogo..Banditt and Drope say cant make it so its just me I guess..anybody who wants to put up any prizes gimme a shout..the more the better..Ill be doing the rounds to local shops to round up some cool stuff for prizes and Puddicombes are looking after the BBQ so other than music and our drag racing game I think Im good...Im sure if I need it I can count on some of the guys from the other clubs..
keep your eyes out for our promo video!!Drope cant make it but he sais he will help us with some of the computer stuff
