it should be better now I got the voice typing working on my phone. maybe you're staying shift linkage is off buy a bit there's also two shaft speed sensors and a temp sensor I had a car oncethe two sensors went on it and I had no first gear did you try unplugging the power from your battery for 10 seconds to see if it resets the computer maybe you'll get your overdrive backhope you can understand this post this time sorry for the other one

 

Heard of this many times and I'm amazed at the owners when they say, "Gee, what's wrong".


In my experience if the trans fluid is not to bad.......lost most of it's properties and viscosity....a transmission flush and fluid change MAY correct your problem. Generally, when shifting gets sluggish, and in some cases, none existent, the fluid lost viscosity.
