Cooling lines

I’m having a problem getting the line out of the radiator. The bottom line wasn’t a problem. The top line is giving a problem getting the line out. It’s a 2009 hhr. Any ideas?

Go to the local; auto parts store and get the Tool. It is basically a piece of plastic that goes around the tube and pushes the spring clip out of the way. Called quick disconnect tool. Or use a pick to pull the spring clip out.
They come in several different shapes, here are some:

The retainer clip #7 , you can use a small screwdriver or a dental hook to move it , it will slide back , then remove the line.

It's the top line that's giving him problems.

I have the the spring ring out already. Used a pick tool to get it out. But it’s not coming out.

Try a shot of WD 40 or PB , then a gentle twist while pulling.

Got the lines put in. No fluid came out when we took lines out. Put in 7 quarts of transmission fluid. It was still slipping when I drove around the block. Added 4 more quarts. Now didn’t move forward at all. Only had reverse. I believe there maybe to much fluid in it. Drained some it still didn’t move. It was coming our pretty good. May need to drain more out.
