Just becuase someone makes comments you don't like doesn't make them a "hater"!

 

You can contact any of the moderators for help. Myself, Sindydix, or ChevyMgr. Posts are only allowed to be edited for so many days then that option disappears. After that you must contact a moderator to make an edit for you. As for uploading and posting pictures check out the following thread:

Nope, but as ChevyMgr so eloquently stated in a previous post in this thread, these kinds of comments will not be tolerated in someones submission thread. You don't like the car then don't vote for it. You have a problem with the submission then report it.

 

This member received a pm as well. Remember, mods have lives as well. We are not on 24/7 though it may seem like it sometimes. Again, if you have a problem with a submission the appropriate response is to report it.

 

I disagree with us not being allowed to post any negative comments. Most people can do so without be offensive if they try. I hate this kind of censorship. The kind that eliminates the right for all because of a few.

If someone wants to voice an opinion, they should be allowed to do so. Isn't the purpose of forums like this to encourage open discussion?

I agree that if we have a real issue with a post/thread we should report it. I would never argue about that. But what is wrong with asking, for example, if something was photoshopped?

That's a pretty crappy attitude as far as I'm concerned. And you took her comment out of of context, she was referring to the rules when she spoke abpout participating.

My point is we should be able to say if we like a submission or not. I agree keep the negative comments about the submission being proper out of the thread. But why can't I say I don't like the car itself as much as the others? If we can't comment honestly, then you may as well take the decision away from us completely anf the mods and owner decide who the winner is, That's the way it originally was anyway. Jonel picked the car.

 

I haven't taken anything out of context. She has stated to keep negative comments out of submission threads. Don't like that rule then don't participate. If you look at the rules for the site what is the 1st thing that you see: "Our goal is to provide a friendly atmosphere for all."

Posting in someones submission "I don't like your car as much as .....", what's the point? You and I have different ideas on this subject and that is all there is to it
