That's not a part number. GM part numbers are 8 digits. Those 2 clusters would not be the same part.
Even if you had the exact same part, all I've seen is people venting about not being able to match a used cluster to their vehicle.

That figures an easy part to change but dealers never have one for a panel... been bad for years.. had some spare time so pulled apart to check..

As far as I know; the I/P has been out of stock for a long time and there is nothing different about the Panel cluster.
I never heard of a cluster failing. What happened to kill it?
There are 2 fuses involved, both on the BCM #7 and #16.
The BCM stores the odometer data, the I/P must be matched to the BCM in order to display it. If you replace the cluster without doing the matching everything will work but the odo display will be frozen, the odo data in the BCM will update. The matching is similar to the way the radio matching works, there is a chip that talks to the BCM.
It is just a display, the BCM and ECM are the computers. There is a serial data connection and 2 electrical supplies. Grounds at G201, #2 in the pic, I think that is showing next to the radio driver side the arrow usually point to the front of the car.

Cluster has never been replaced or even removed till now..
will work fine after driving with heat on for a period of time..
being in Florida that's rare.. I do also have radio problems started with display doing
wild random things yesterday had a time of 4:96 music went out ages ago..
pulled dash to replace radio (had wrong connections) so visited cluster to check connection.
