I have seen 33 mpg on trips (72 mph) on cruise. I have been getting around 26-27 in town. The winter is not as good 24 town and 28-29 on the highway. I had no problem with the tires last winter in all kinds of weather here in the Southern Tier and in Buffalo/Rochester during some bad weather.

 

My new 2.4L 5 speed gets 27mpg combined. I have seen 32+ at 60mph, but it drops to 28-29 above 70.

 

I have the 2.4 and my combined is around 28. I could do a little better but for some reason my gas pedal does not like to go below 75 on the highways. I have seen 30-31 on mine, but that was doing 65-70. I tried to keep it right in that speed range for a couple of weeks to see if what I could get and was able to hit the 30mpg.
