2007 LT turn signals not working

The turn signals on my HHR began operating
Intermittently a couple of days ago and now today neither of them work. I have read the bcm
Controls them. Is their any repair or does it have to be replaced. Everything else it controls still works.

Do you mean the lights do not illuminate or you don't hear the click-click anymore or both?

It started intermittent, one would click click click and the other would work then they would switch sides, now no lights and click click click on both.

Do the lights operate when you hold the leaver in the up or down position? If they do then it is the switch, and it is an easy replacement. If not I would check fuses first.

There are no fuses associated with the turn signals. From what I have read they are controlled from the bcm.

True, in a sense. The command for the turn signals comes from the BCM. But the power for the brake light/turn signal wiring is fused or relayed somewhere in the circuit.

Pulled this up from a 06. Should be about the same for all years.

None of the lights flash but there is a click-click?

Clicking at normal speed?

Do the stop lights (all 3), parking lights (front and rear), tail lights work?

Does the cruise control work?

Has anybody done any work on the car before this started?

Very doubtful that the BCM it self broke, that would be the very last thing to even consider.

Do the hazzard lights operate correctly? If yes, it is an indication that the problem is NOT with the bulbs, sockets, or anything else under the hood.

I fixed this same problem on a Chevy Cobalt and a Pontiac G5........Same part.

Cost 10 bucks each at a local Pick N Pull wrecking yard.

Here is a list of cars where you could get a replacement part from a local wrecking yard........or you could just buy a new switch for $25-$35 retail auto parts store.
