i have a 2008 hhr 2.4L engine that has a rod knock. i bought a 2007 hhr 2.4L to replace it. i want to be sure the heads are interchangable before i go to all the trouble. also, for the gasket, the only one i could find is for the hhr LS, mine is an LT. are they the same engines? the reason i have to change the head is because the 07 has one cam sensor and the 08 has 2 cam sensoprs. can i take the head w/ the 2 cams from the 08 and put them on the 07 block? thanks for all replies :)

If you have a 2008, why are you paying to fix this when you have a 100k mile warranty?
