You should enjoy that thing. A good price. I bought a new 2009 and still have my window sticker. The sticker says $25,075. The only difference I see is I have the chrome roof rails and the tan leather interior. Mine now has 39,000 miles on it. Nothing but the usual stuff done.

Sounds pretty cool Jim. I decided last week when we saw the 5 er 6 hail dings, along with a few scrapes on the passenger side to just go ahead and replace the hood to. this way I have no bondo in anything and be like starting out brand new.

I had it painted and fenders headlights and hood on and everything lined up perfect. But, I had to order two little plastic things that join the fender and bumper cover. They came in Friday so today everything will be ready for inspection,,,, and the first test drive complete.

Had to the shop around the corner for front alignment and everything was in spec and N/C,, I'm lov'n it! This thing will be get'n asome use yet this fall and come spring, I fish a Walleye run 5 to 7 days a week, it's a 140 mile round trip,, so she will be get'n some miles on him then! Should have some finished pictures later today or tomorrow?

Well she is complete again, not as much as a skim coat of bondo! Replaced the passenger fender headlight and fog light, along with the front bumper cover and hood. That's it, then took it fer a test run about 20 miles just to make sure it was ready for the trip to the inspection post tomorrow morning. Left one ding in the drivers fender, this weekend I will post it in the pictures forum after I can clean it up and get some better shots outside.

The whole 20 mile drive taking 5 or 6 stops resulted in a 33.6 mpg av. along with how the it drove and road, I smiled the whole way. The only thing I would have liked would have been a little softer ride,, but after all the bad handling and not aggressive enough handling reviews I've read,,,,, I can honestly say, they must be expecting it to handle like a Porsche?

I am very happy and quite surprised how well it corners and handles without the body roll I've read about! I also have more than enough room for all my fishing gear, and am sure the 14" deep V will do just fine behind it. VERY HAPPY!! and frankly,, quite lucky!

I used this on the custom grill I did for mine and it works great. You can make it very light or very dark, just depend on the number of coats you apply.

Thanks for the advice solman, I was looking at that and thinking about it. How well does it last, I had a couple say it won't last year round without peeling hot to cold in the north land. I won't be driving it in the winter but it will be outside.

I can only say that in 2012 I did this grill.

It still looked good in 2015 when this happened. Few rock chips, but no peeling for anything.

Just an FYI, this was 4 coats of black chrome and 4 coats of clear.

Check out this like to see what one coat looks like.
