I bought them used. Discontinued product. I know of one other HHR with those wheels. Would like to buy a spare if I could find one.
Thanks for reply. Naturally they are discontinued , they look hot.

Well that does change everything. If you’re going that far, forged rods and piston will make your 2.4 tolerate a turbo to make use of the new-found intercooler cavern. No SS clone derision. You’ll have a sleeper that will blow the doors off a “real” SS.

Yeah, I thought about doing the turbo after rebuilding. However, that's a lot of money. I actually have been donating plasma to get money to work on my car! HA! I get about 4-6 hundred a month and been saving every penny since February to get it painted. I do small woodworking projects to that's also made me about 3K in the last year. I've already spent about 1500 on parts and I need another 8 hundred before paint. Once those are done I'll be posting a before and after shot. Anyway, upholstery is next sometime next year. Engine is last on my list unfortunately unless I win the lotto!

Cool, I believe the 2.4 has forged rods stock, but not pistons.. Do it up right.

Nah. Cheap if you take the time to look. Scored an entire rear axle assembly from a Cobalt SS on eBay for under $300. Car had less than 60K miles on it. It took another $100 for stainless flex brake lines to be safe, and about an hour to swap the axles out. Easy-peezy. I even snuck in lowering springs from the SS....

A&P was in the middle of getting all the pieces for a S/C install, sadly he passed away prior to completing his project. I think CJ Krause installed a S/C on his first HHR.
I’ve thought about it , but parts are scarce and it is a 10 year old car, and I’m in a fixed income now, so funds are just as scarce!

Blue- You would have dug seeing JoeR S/C set up on his 2.4L.

Yes sad about A&P, I know he was gathering.

And CJ put one on his 2.2 '06.
