Seafoam is great stuff.....got my Ninja 250 running after I had neglected it all winter (ie: gummed jets in carbs) Absolutely amazing stuff

afa oil goes...0W30 will do just fine as well

You could use a container or two of 10/30 instead of your 5/30 when you change without worry,it`ll blend.

While I would easily put Seafoam in my fuel tank I would never put it in my crankcase. Ever. But that's just me.

Sea foam should only be added to the crank case for a quick trip around town to clean everything out, then should be be drained out promptly. The name says it all, sea foam foams up alot, and you do not want that in your motor all the time. But it is great to use in your fuel tank.

i've used sea foam for a while now and it is truly amazing. some in the gas tank, some in the crankcase, throw some thru a vacume line or the throtle body. makes alot of smoke though if used properly when really dirty.

I have used sea foam several times on my other vehicle, but primarily on the intake tract.,..aka...sucked in through a vaccuum line.

I use it BEFORE I change my spark plugs.

yes, it will smoke like crazy for a few minutes after use, but it really helps keep the carbon build up to a minimum.

I have never used it in my oiling system.

I use Marvel Mystery oil every 5000 miles in the oil and in the gas.

Ahhh.......another Marvel Oil user. I use it in the shop for all my air tools and occasionally in the wife's flathead Ford roadster. Flatheads LOVE Marvel Oil.

Rumor has it it is very similar to automatic transmission fluid, i.e hydraulic oil.
