General HHR Discuss anything related to the Chevy HHR that doesnt seem to fit into the more specific categories below.

Another case in point: GM's Chevrolet HHR, trashed by critics

I usually don't pay attention to car reviewers names but I can tell you the names of several movie critics I almost always disagree with.

critics... bah.

Critics were summed up pretty well in Mel Brooks' movie History of the World: Part I "And with the birth of the first artist..." cut to scene of caveman standing back looking proud of his cave wall animal drawings "... came the inevitable afterbirth, the art critic..." shows another caveman hiking up his loin cloth as whizzing on the proud artist's wall painting.

Hey 'Zep...thanks for the compliment. My HHR is so tough it can even launch over Niagara and still come back for more!

I still say the Corvair was one of the best cars that ever came out of Detroit. We had a '61 and two '64's...a sedan and a black Monza convertible with red upholstery. It was soooooo sweet!

Now....wouldn't an HHR pickup truck look good?

A truck, yes.

I just can't imagine a ragtop though.

No...no ragtop. Not unless they changed the entire rear end to make it more sedan-type. Even then I don't think it would work.

Or would it?....Hmmmmm
