I had a 1965 Plymouth Valiant 2 door. Black with Flames on it.

A buddy of mine bought it from an eldery lady, with LOW miles on it, he drove it, it was MINT. Then he let his sister borrow it, she rear ended someone and got rear ended.

After that it got bought and sold a few times to different guys we knew (this is back in Highschool mind you) One of them did the flame job on it as a hit Beater by then.

I bought it, bought 2 used front fenders at the Junkyard and I repaired the trunk and the rear quarters painted them all Black again and just taped off the Flames and resprayed them.

Fun car, No options, except auto trans. LOL I had a brake line go out, I drove it for about a month with the pull handle emergency brake as my brakes !

My Dad would have Killed me had he known I was driving it that way.

That is a Wild looking wagon, Paint it Black.

Correct on the Valiant, Mike. This particular example is with the second owner. Its original slant six / 3-speed manual combo has been replaced with a 360 V8 and Torqueflite from a Dodge Diplomat. Disc brakes, too.

Yeah, poor 'ole Virgil got a bum deal from the head guys at Chrysler....... Personally, I think he was a genius.

The things that cooked Virgil's goose were the "Plucked Chicken" Chrysler's with the reversed fins, and the unfortunate "toilet seats" on the trunk lids of certain models.
