THANKS, that's perfect. and the remote interacts with the inline RF receiver to turn it on and off. and no, no installation guide...plug (USB) n' play.

i already have the same sign on my windshield, and i've tested it behind the rear passenger window—waaaay bright enough.

You need to heed this: "However you will need a switch to turn it off as I would think it draws power even when the car is turned off." - IT being the USB charger. That would need to be double checked, else it will drain your battery.
