My wife was hit by a large haz-mat truck at a stop light...left front.

The police and medics said that the airbags saved her from serious injury.

Over $12,000 in damage to a 2006 Chevy 1500.....

We are grateful to have had the airbags.

UPDATE! Good news...State Farm decided it was a total loss.
Better news...Just got back from dealer with a new '08 SS.
(BTW, this dealer has nine (9) '09 SS on his lot)

 

Congrat's!! I still don't understand how Dealers East of the Mississippi have "numerous" SS's and our SoCal Dealers say "wait a while"??
