I'm not going to give you bad advice, have done it numerous times, no issues at all. Use 6 point deep sockets
Frankly if the cylinders have been on there a few years, then there will be enough crud in there that replacements may be prudent anyway.
Again, they are not that expensive. $14.00

Hey Don thank you for responding, is there anything I need to do with the slack on the e- brake cable after the new pad/rotor install? I am assuming once I push the caliper back, the cable will be too long.
