I SCUBA Dive and was concerned about scratching the bumper with tanks and gear. So my wife made a blanket with Dolphins on it for the back storage area. The blanket extends over the bumper to protect it when needed.

What a great idea. I just sprung for the factory mat and after putting it on it only does half a job. It should have been made to go clear to the edge of the bumper. I like your idea best.

I'm looking at LineX, they do a color coordinated spray on, I had them do the rocker panels on my old Ranger and never did get rock chips in it. I'll probably have the whole bumper done.
