Butyl patch

Does anyone have a picture of it? If my car has it can that area be totally sealed off or does some air need to get through that area?

It can be sealed completely as air will draw through the cowl from the drivers side.

However, a 2007 should not have a worry, unless it was one of the first 100 of the line. Do you have wet passenger side carpet when it rains? If it is wet all of the time the AC drain tube is blocked.
