Yeah, I think that's why they're offering to buy the car back...because the papers I signed actually said it had those features. I also thought heated seats were only available with leather seats, but I figured the dealer should know better than I would!

Cheap oil!

Also with certified pre owned you get 2 years of oil changes free and they will look over the car first free during oil changes.
"2 Years of free oil changes" What kind of oil do they use? The cheapest oil they can find. And do they also change the oil filter for free too? Probably not! Watch out for the scam! If you do your own oil changes or take it to Jiffy-lube, etc you can specify the oil type & brand & you get the filter changed too (which is important to protect the value of your baby!).

The first dealership took back the stripped-down 2011 2LT and refunded our money because the car was missing features that were listed on the paperwork.

While we were waiting for them to send a driver to pick the car up, we bought a fully-loaded 2009 2LT with 20k miles. The interior has taken quite a beating from the previous owner's dog, but we're hoping a Magic Eraser and the carpet shampooer will help...otherwise, my brother said he has a friend who can detail it, inside and out, for $70.

That was one interesting read! And I'm with "Sleeper" on this re: the legal ramifications of false advertising. I would have taken the issue way over their heads. I have to wonder what "Michelle" was thinking about this...

I got my '11 LLT by trading in a '09 LT. The salesman I had walked me thru all of the options that included Bluetooth, even though it was a fleet lease. In fact we set it up on my phone right there in the lot.

My '09 didn't have a sunroof which fit me real well despite being over 6-1. Now,even while wearing my favorite Harley cap there's still enough head room to the sunroof. I'm happy. And just as happy with the increase in performance over the '09.

Welcome to the club!

It depends a lot on where you live, im in colorado and smaller cars like the HHR are in lower demand here, I ended up getting my 2010 with only 20k miles, for only $12,000. Just make sure to point out and write down every flaw you find with the car (usually cosmetic) and bring up those points while negotiating price

Try and get some Kirby carpet shampoo and just put it on a wet rag and get to scrubbing. my interior has been through hell, and that's what brought it back.
