I'm having a custom rack installed on my HHR SS. Rather than have a Yakima or Thule track bolted on the roof, these will be four separate "feet" held on by four inserts each. I have a sunroof. Where might I find pictures showing where any wires might be under the headliner? Ideally I'd like to have the rack feet attached to the roof without dropping the headliner, as long as there are not too many wires that could be damaged. Any advice appreciated.

You just drill around the wires. LOL! Sorry I had to say it before someone else did to get it out of the way.


For the most there are not many wires up there other then the dome. Most are on the sides on the rails. Someone my be able to post a picture here to see where they are.

In fact there was a thread on removing the head liner that show it all. Might look that one up and take a look.
