So being that ac Delco parts were not readily I got some off brand from Amazon delivered this morning and because the tutorial is awesome did the work myself… I am mechanically inclined I just can’t diagnose anything :p

so solenoids are swapped out but still having CEL code p 2135 with my old reader and rude s power kicks in at same time as the service esc. I did.clear codes to see there was anything lingering but after about 5 miles it kicked in to this recent behavior again. I did hit autozone so see if their newer code reader could access anything more than my old one.. they pulled the same code an additional cO561-71 code with abs… as they are across the street from each other I checked orielly’s too and only showed the p2135.

So in honestly don’t know where to go from here… as I have stated I can’t truly diagnose anything and my right arm barely functions as I had shoulder surgery and am still recovering and have surgery on my left Monday… trying to get them both straightened out… could get out of a double chicken wing in. Wrestling in high school, and now age has caught up with me.

Thanks again for progress thus far assuming that we are making progress and it is not just electrical haywire issues. The battery is new as of this summer so should be solid… Yes it gets cold, and salty in Michigan…. Have wiggled connections around in the engine compartment but not much else… some of clips are likely to require more force than. I can generate with 1.5 functioning arms.

any other thoughts or advice is appreciated. So again lingering p2135 and once limo
ofe occurs it kicks off the ESC.

Ok, let’s concentrate on the throttle body, just clean it with throttle body cleaner, do not move the butterfly, just spray clean it.

The C0561-71 means that the EBCM is getting invalid serial data from one of the other modules. Maybe because the key was off. It will cause a CEL and a ABS/TCS light along with the P2135.

Ok, did a throttle body clean and a MAF clean while I was at it. The p2135 persists. Did do a code reset and it popped up again the very next cycle after driving a few miles. Runs great and normal on the cleared codes but obviously thinks it needs to protect itself as it still will enter limp reduced power mode and throw off the ECS at the same time.

Any other thoughts? :)
