The reason I ask about what happens after 55 is I am wondering if it is wind related.

I believe I have found the problem. Apparently where the running boards connect to the car around the front driver tire there was a bolt that was loose. Loose enough to give the plastic covering enough give to rattle. I just took it for a spin and apparently no more click, click, click. Nothing like a little brainstorming to get your brain thinking. I am going to post a picture for you guys real quick. Thanks.

Awesome! Glad you got it all figured out, and that there wasn't anything major wrong with the HHR. Nice work!

Thank you, thank you. I will be taking service appointments upon request. Just keep in a single file line. Payment is due when services are rendered. Ha, ha, ha!!

Thanks again for the help!

Nice find. I had that same bolt come loose after I put mud flaps on. I just put some silicone on the end and screwed it back in.

Good idea, it looked as if it was just put in there and never tightened at all by whoever installed the boards. If it comes loose again I will use the silicone.

See that nasty gap between the running board and body? If you loosen that bolt up again then push "up" on the running boards while tightening it, you can get rid of it.

Hope it helps,

Maybe it's the playing card flapping against your spokes?
