Cobalt SS
The 08 "SS" used a 2.4 NA Ecotec because the Contract for the Eaton M-62 had Expired and GM went with a Turbo setup after that.
The 05 SS had a Supercharger as well.
If you want a Supercharger setup you can take the 2.0 SC setup and put it on a 2.2/2.4. Or you could swap the whole engine if you know what your doing.
Here are two threads that I found discussing the Cobalt SS engine that might help.

05-07 cobalt ss supercharged
08-10 cobalt ss turbocharged (same lnf as hhr ss)
as stated above there was also an ss package with the 2.4 that was neither turbo or sc
putting any of those engines in an hhr is possible, but probably not worth the trouble as you would probably also need to swap all the computers, wiring etc and get it to work.
there are supercharger and turbo kits available to buy that will install on a 2.2 or 2.4 hhr, easier than swapping the whole engine
if you are saying you have an engine from a 2006 supercharged cobalt, you can remove the supercharger specific parts and put your own kit together cheaper than buying an aftermarket kit. You need more than just the supercharger though.
