code p0017

i have a 2010 2.2 lt and i replaced timing chain,tensioner,guides i also changed both actuaters then went to start it up and all it did was idle rough and shut down i got the code p0017 . i tried starting it again later in the day and it idled ok ,turned it off and back on again and it wouldnt start . Anyone have any ideas it would be appreciated.

It sounds like you didn't get the timing quite right. There are other potential causes for this code. https://www.obd-codes.com/p0017

Did you have some sort of failure before you replaced it? And did you replace the balance shaft kit too?

Double check your work, you will need to remove the valve and front covers again.
