I bought the above part a few months ago when my keyless entry suddenly stopped working. I was hesitant to purchase the product but thought I would rather spend $75 and try this out rather than take the car in and pay for diagnostics, reprogramming, etc. This product also came with another FOB. You basically plug this part in to your diagnostic port and follow the very simple instructions. You can reprogram as many FOBS as you have as long as you do them all within a couple of minutes of each other. The product says it will work for "no more than 3 sessions". I only used 1 session and only have the re-programmer, not the FOB since I needed it.


I have now sold the car but have the part. If anyone has an HHR and would like to see if this fixes their non-working remote start, send me a message and I will forward it along to you to try out.
