Thank you all, delayed getting the car because tax refund got pushed back due to the IRS site crashing this past week for a couple days. Anyway will have cash in hand Tuesday and will be picking it up Wednesday if all goes well with the test drive. Getting excited. Thanks again for all the kind words and advise!
Sincerely,
Jase

If I get her I will be sure to post pictures.

BTW what is the Difference between the LS And LT....this Oneil Orange I'm about to get is an LT model.

Love the blacked out rims and grill. Did it yourself? If so how??

The LT model is the upscale model, in the glove box there should be a sticker look for 1LT or 2LT you'll find all the build codes there also

Cool thank you will look for that. When we take it for a test drive.

Also I know on our PT after about 100k the timing belt needed to be changed ~ seems to be the mileage that they start to fail ~ are there any repairs or preventative maintence I should be thinking about?

Thanks again and any and all input is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
Jase

Our Trucklets have a timing chain, have a listen for chain rattle at cold start up, ask for any records of any repairs.
At 10 years old it's gonna need something, but then again everything might have been addressed , things like worn strut bearing plates, lower control arm bushings , clunking from sway bar end links and or sway bar bushings.
Check for brake judder, the steering wheel might shake under braking, that can be a result of the rear drum brakes not adjusted correctly, or the LCA rear bushings are toast!
Post up your findings before you buy, some of these problems can help you lower the price!
If your mechanically inclined they aren't hard to repair!!!

Yes I found my Gregg huddled, scared, and lonely under a tree in the used lot of a Ford Dealership full of twigs, leaves, and ants. He is as happy as can be now and I am happy as well. Good luck with your purchase and should any issues arise they are usually mundane and easily reparable; This forum will be a lifesaver for the length of your ownership!
