from page 5-6 2008 Manual

Some gasolines that are not reformulated for low emissions can contain an octane-enhancing additive called methylcyclopentadienyl manganese tricarbonyl (MMT); ask the attendant where you buy gasoline whether the fuel contains MMT. We recommend against the use of such gasolines.

for California fuel users... "ask the attendant" ???? that would get you where. Buy top tier (most USA fueling points) and GO!

Indy car probably has a chemist on crew just to mix the fuel for max performance and mpg for any given weekend depending on many variables. It's all about the 14.7/1 and a few other things.

Beam me up, Deanna Troi...

I 'm sticking to 100% real gas, my 2.4 does very well on it & that is my bottom line.

Ouch! Ethanol-free often costs more than Premium around here.
I use it in chainsaws and other small engines though.

Casa Del Gatos- I'm in Ag country, loads of farms etc, so the cost is pretty reasonable, I paid more for 87 E-10 back in Fla.

honestly I can't think of one station near me (Orlando) that has E85, but I'm not a fan so *shrugs*
I'd rather run straight gas, especially in my carb Monte Carlo... but like Casa said, it's higher than diesel around here... and doing 300+ miles a week, I just can't afford it
