Looks like if you shortened the tube at the flare splice it would fit. They most likely use the same kit for multiple applications.

 

Not sure how up to date this thread is, but now having had my 2007 HHR diagnosed with a severely rusted set of fuel lines and having my 2008 repaired in 2018 for the same issue, ,I just found an article dated in July of this year that NHTSA is investigating the issue of rusted fuel lines on the Cobalt and HHR. It was encouraged that owners with this problem come forward. I'm filing two complaints and I would encourage those that have had this problem also complain. Maybe we can get a recall (10 years late maybe)
