Did the person that regularly services your car mention how dangerous it is to ignore warnings on the dashboard?
At this point it is pretty useless to check codes. It needs to be taken to someone that can fix whatever is wrong; I would not be shocked if the timing chain broke and caused major damage.

Seems to me, that’s a strong possibility, or the battery died!

I'm with donbrew. Sounds like no compression, timing chain issue. Hopefully the engine isn't destroyed, Don't crank it anymore until the timing components are inspected. You can do this yourself by simply removing the valve cover.

Don'r drive it, don't try to start it, don't even let a mechanic try to start it until it's been established the the timing chain is OK.

Tow it to a competent shop that has experience doing Ecotec timing chains. If you want to do something in the meantime, get the codes read and write them down (the numbers, not the descriptions.) All of them.

If you don't know where your timing chain is you will not want to attempt this job.

Most certainly will not attempt! Watch the video- too much for me to remove!! Ok so playing this process of elimination Ive got going on... Is there any way of ruling out the timing chain without inspecting it? In my mind-correct me if im wrong-I can rule out any part of the starter, like the bendex (sp)? Bc of How it died on me on the interstate...lost power Then died. And not the alternator bc my battery is still capable of cranking & not drained... Am i on the right track?
