I was there yesterday too.

Last years show was the last you would have seen one there. When cars are this close to the end they don't really promote them.

The first SS I ever saw was at the Cleveland show a few years ago. I had no idea months later I would buy one.

This year is a transitional one for the GM shows circuit. GM will have a lot of new stuff to come. The did not have the ZL1 Camaro there as something happened to the show car at Chicago. It should be at other shows soon but it missed Cleveland. I think this is why the Bumblebee for the new Transformers Movie came back out.

With so many HHR's out there we will have a good supply of used ones for years.

I seriously considered buying a red SS yesterday my wife drives about 2000 miles a year so by the time I wear this one out I'd have a replacement all warmed up The problem is She still loves her old Bemmer I guess I better get out there and wash it for her.

I remember guys on the Impala Forum complaining that parts for the 91-96 B body were gone 2 years after production ended. I hope the oem fog lights and floor mats aren't gone before I can afford to buy some. I wish there were HHR in junk yards around here.
Order for headrest was placed a day or two after vehicle purchase Dec 14th. GM came up with one headrest 2nd week of Feb. Then received 3 black headrest before finally coming up with correct one this 2nd week of March. So if you need GM specific parts, don't wait, GM already beginning to list HHR parts as no longer available.

Better sell you HHR fast if this is the case. I never heard of a mfg who stops making replacement parts for a vehicle before its discontinuance.

Heck, I can still get GM parts for my 24 year old Silverado! What's with GM?

You would be suprised how many people order headrest. This is an item that is not really stocked in many places and I would say from the time line it was sent from the supplier.

Most people in need of one would just get one from the thousands of HHRs in the junk yard that have been totaled.

You are correct in thinking the interiror parts will be the first ones to be more difficult to find but there will be plenty of parts for the next 20 years.

Even today only a few of the parts on my Fiero are difficult to find after 25 years. Most are interiror parts that saw high wear.

That sucks, most of my problems (self inflicted) are interior related.
