Started messing around with the body panels a couple days ago. Im gonna cut the back corners off the front hood section, so they don't flare out past my frame work. Bolted the fenders on, just been cutting and adjusting them. Need to cut a good bit more off, just cutting more as I go.
Thanks!!! It's definitely gonna look a lot better. Getting to buff and wax my Trailblazer today. House sitting for my brother, and he has all the good stuff
You know... With the front wheel opening being so long a set of wheelwell headers like the gassers had back in the day would be great... Splice in a piece and make the fenders complete with a long wheel opening. Maybe even make the hood sides also stretched up to your cowl piece. Leave the hood open in the center.

You keeping the "bomb" intake?
Thanks for the ideas!! Im definitely keeping the bomb intake, that's most people's favorite part. I think I'm gonna have my buddy powder coat it for me. Thinking about making it look like the bombs on the original Mario Brothers game.
I've looked at a bunch of different fenders off cars from the 30's and 40's, definitely some cool looking lines. I'm wanting to make some small fenders and mount them on the spindles... .but if I come across a set of old fenders for the right price, I might try to make something work.
