The only one that bothers me are the cloth seats. I have the grey cloth and they are impossible to keep clean, or to get clean. For the first time in my life, I wish I had leather seats. Most everything else is fixable with aftermarket parts, such as the stubby antenna and smoothie door locks. I don't drink in my HHR so the cup holders are not a concern, though I do see why they would bother those who drink (soda of course) .

But couldn't they have put the exhaust on the other side?

What you say makes sense but doesn't dis-allow my statement.

Yeah...the drink holders could be better placed and larger as well. They are not large enough for the "bladder busters" I like to get when I'm travelling. What good is a 400 mile range if I have to stop all the time for a fresh Pepsi? Of course,I do have a plug in cooler too.

The small cup holders are actually a covert agreement between GM, Da Gov, and the insurance companies to force you to cut back and lose weight (for the conspiracy believers)

I don`t think they had you in mind

It was an agreement between mfg. and the gov. for safety reasons, I don`t think they had you in mind.
I don`t have any problems walking to the other side to put fuel in. My van has the filler on the drivers side, still doesn`t make the walk or price any better.
I walk around the HHR all the time to open the pass. door for the lovely Mrs. B/B anyway.

My biggest pet peeve is that I have light gray interior. I would have much preferred the darker interior that came in some of the newer models. I could change it but that would get really expensive.

You know, on a car site, sometimes owners just swap parts.
Never seen any offers, but what if someone wanted light, and traded you their dark?
What a concept.

I've gotta go with the fuel door...but not the placement. I don't like the fact that it does't lock. With the price of gasoline these days...it should lock and be able to be opened from inside the driver side cabin somewhere.
