You certainly don't have to worry about being dehydrated

Hi again,

JX3's doggy looks like a real pal.

That's right - no drive through food stops for this HHR - can you imagine what the interior would look like if my grand daughter and friends ate their fries on the way home?

I have never used an ATM - I wouldn't know how, and much prefer chatting up the teller chicks inside the bank. Am I old fashioned? I hope so.

I know I'll call GM for roadside assistance before I climb back there and try to remove the inside hatch cover to try to find the release, which from what I understand is difficult to get to when you know what you're doing!!

In my mind, this is a BIG safety issue also.
Not only is that a saftey issue, but if your battery is dead, how do you open the hatch to get to the battery??? We really should have either a key or, preferably, an inside cable for emergency. In fact, with all the people have problems with their membrane handle, maybe GM should have cut costs by only having a cable release.

Other peeves-antenna (I have removed it already and am getting it body worked), door locks (even short ones should not be necessary, since 99% of new cars have them near the door handle), fuel door should have inside cable release. But my biggest peeve is the body itself. The metal is so thin that just leaning on the hood, fenders, door, etc leave dings. Living in the city, cars double park and hit your car. I have had very light taps leave big marks. And perhaps a ball or something bouncing off my hood or fender should not leave a dent. I wish the car had those plastic panals like the Saturn.

I put other because there isn't an option to click more than one. The door locks could be better located, my biggest one is no OS handle. I wish I had gotten running boards and will if I ever can come up with the money to get them. I did have gas siphoned so I have a locking gas cap which is a total PIA. All in all I do love my HHR though...:) A sign of aging I think my favorite feature this winter was the heated leather seats along with the remote start.
