Other: car payment. (ending soon though)

I pretty much like my car just the way it is. Even what I don't like about it, isen't really even worth mentioing. The HHR is still better than what I used to drive.

Deb.....

If you're afraid of someone syphoning gas, you may not need to worry. Someone told me MOST of the manufacturers have a piece of baffle like material at the top of the tank. If someone attempted to get your gas, the tank service line is all they would have access to......if the tank is absolutely full....maybe a gallon of gas.

But, I have read of a few instances of "punching" tanks from the bottom and allowing gas to leak into containers. After all, a lot of the tanks are only plastic of some type.

Talking 'Other'

I voted 'Other', as in I have no pet peeves with my HHR.
I guess I am just an easy going kind of guy,
I really just LOVE EVERYTHING about this car!!!

Hi,

Most of the items that peeve people fall into the category of "get used to it." For instance, if window switches had been located in the middle lower panel on all cars for the past 50 years, and the HHR came out with door mounted window switches, then some people would be peeved.

As for cup holders, simply forbid eating and drinking in the car!

I can see why some people don't like the location of the door lock doodads, but as all HHRs are air conditioned, aren't the windows supposed to be closed when the car is moving?

Does anybody agree with me on these items?

I do have one minor peeve - I wish the tailgate could be unlocked with a key.

Peter

Maybe your a bit messier eater than most, and this may be YOUR best option.

Some of us like riding w/ the windows down and let some of that beach air in. Why would anyone have a sunroof if it were meant to be buttoned up? And have you ever tried using the drive-up ATM, or going thru a drive thru for food? Oh, wait that's not an option for you.

YES!!!!

I always forget to mention this! Especially since there is no inside release either. And PLEASE don't give me that line about the release INSIDE the hatch! I know I'll call GM for roadside assistance before I climb back there and try to remove the inside hatch cover to try to find the release, which from what I understand is difficult to get to when you know what you're doing!!

In my mind, this is a BIG safety issue also.
