HHR Sales for August 2007 vs 2006

I just saw the sales figures for the HHR

2006=8620
2007=12886

49.5% increase over 2006

I thought it was great news. Probably bad news for 2008 though.

Alan

Cool Very Cool!

VERY COOL! I feel like most of those weren't in my area though, as I don't see too many HHRs compared to other vehicles where I live.

I guess I am of the opposite view. I want the sales to be LESS. So the cars are more rare and look more unique. Unlike the all too common PT Cruisers I see everywhere.

I don't know where these cars are at. I had a hard time finding one on the lot or finding them listed at the various Chevy dealers web sites. The dealers may have only 1 or 4 HHRs listed and most are black. Black IS beautiful, but not for a car in the sunshine state. A/C can't keep up with the heat generated by the sun beating on the car.

They have a fair selection at 4 Chevey Dealers in Tampa, FL.
One that I know of has 8, one has 10 counting 2 panels. One has them in the back, one has about 6 I think that I saw.
That was last week.

my local Chevy dealer has exactly 0 of them. They say that they will get some, but not when. I asked if they were going to get an SS in and they said no. They excuse "They can't have a car with that price tag sitting on the lot." OK, what about the dozen or so $40,000 trucks out their. I don't think that they believe in any demand for the HHR.
