Cash price for regular unleaded at Stripes today is $1.75. Card price is $1.78.

With my Kroger card I paid $1.30 a gallon on saturday. A little more than $16.00 to fill up my panel. NEVER thought i would see that again in my lifetime.

$2.39 here in Oregon but that is full serve we are not smart enough to pump our own here in oreeeegone. My buddies in the oil/gas industry say that the price of fuel should stay down for a year or so then start to creep up. Middle east guys are punishing the shale oil producers in the states for encroaching on their market...lol

For 100% real gas, $2.00 for 87, & $ 2.38 for 91 also 100% real gas.
corn gas is cheaper.

Cruising around Halifax Nova Scotia with the in-laws, Regular gas is going for 98 Cents per Liter, or roughly $3.92 a gallon Canadian. A quick exchange rate calculation works out to somthing like $3.37 a gallon U.S.

Lowest I've seen here was $2.17 at an Indian res. It's about $2.35-$2.45 elsewhere for 87.

I keep waiting for Juan Zago AKA Zagohhr to check in with gas prices from Mexico, they're stuck with the Nationalized chain PEMEX down there, and sometimes their gas is ridiculously cheap.

Of course PEMEX gas used to be just terrible stuff, octane ratings in the 70's, and it would burn if you threw a match in a puddle of the stuff. But in your car, oy vey!

I don't think I'd want to imagine the sounds that would come from an engine running on 70 something octane... Mine doesn't even like 87 anymore once I started putting 93 in it...

Ever hear a box of ball bearings being dumped down a laundry chute? That's the best approximation I can give of the sounds coming from my buddy's six cylinder Econoline on our Great Mexican Adventure in 1984.

The Econo-Beast never quite recovered from that trip, which also included a broken rear axle, and a rock through the drain pan of the Ford-O-Matic transmission.

Both the axle and drain pan were mended by roadside mechanics for a handful of Pesos and cervezas.

$2.02/gal. for regular, $2.18/gal. for mid-grade, and $2.42/gal. for premium were the prices I saw last night at my local Marathon station when I filled up.
