So after replacing the zfr6758 turbo (turned out to be bad) and driving about 3k miles, I went to replace an oil, and just to be sure everything is good also removed air intake pipe.

this is what I found. Air intake tube was covered in oil .Even got some on a maf sensor (the one after air filter) Oil in turbo outlet. Checked for a shaft play. Zero play. The only area I see the oil can get there is the line that goes from valve cover to turbo (right in front of turbo propeller). Unless I am missing something. The car drives fine. Little louder, probably due to me reusing old downpipe gasket (forgot to order new one).Realy hoping for some knowledgeable help here For right know I am driving it like a realy old grandpa, trying to stay away from the boost

The only reason I can think of for that much oil in the PCV system, is worn rings/cylinder walls/piston. This causes more blow-by, and excessive crankcase pressure.

Wait, it just occurred to me that a blocked PCV valve could also cause excessive crankcase pressure.

Have you had a compression or leak down test performed

I did compression test. 1st cylinder is 130, other 3 are 125. I have ttr intake manifold which has a line with PVC valve cartridge. Also I installed catch can in that line after pcv valve. If piston rings were worn, it would be smoking. It does not.

Are you sure you have the one-way valve installed correctly?

Quite a 180 degree bend in the pvc hose to the catch can, but not kinked, I s the pvc valve oiled up , sticking? Have you cleaned it?

it is drilled out at ttr so you can't install it other way.

I keep draining that catch can. So I am assuming it is working properly. But will check pcv valve. And try to run it without catch can. Maybe it is not 100%operational.

"compression test. 1st cylinder is 130, other 3 are 125" - are they not way low?
