Uh, Spanish uses the same alphabet so there'd be no need to be able to read English. The arrow is there so they don't have to take the time to check if the chiclet is sideways or upside down, they just have to point the arrow up....just like the people in Kansas do with the Malibus....the Canadians with the Camaro....

You can find more signs of "made in Mexico".... Have you seen all the windows have "crinamex". What do you thinks that means "MEX"? Also, the shock absorber of the rear door. This is most specific. You can read "Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila"

hahaha.... Actually "Crinamex" is the brand of the windows. In Spanish (not Mexican) Made in Mexico is "Hecho en México"
