Oldblue has a dome light? I am getting confused now. Sunroof or no?

If there is a dome light it is held to the roof by a magnet and to the headliner by tabs and slots. And the wires are glued too, I can't remember if they are glued to the headliner or the roof.

 

Rofl, I feel like an arse.... so yeah I have a dome light in the back that operates when door opens.... if it worked... its broken...

Still nothing up front due to my sun roof (which needs fixed)...

They tend to melt or just explode. If you can make it work it is fairly easy to turn it 189 degrees for a true cargo light. It comes aimed at the passenger area.

One caveat tho. The light holds the headliner up, so be careful of the tabs and slots. There is a pretty strong magnet on the lamp holding it to the roof, feels like it is secured. and the glue they use on the wires is really tuff.

 

The lever that turns it from on, to off, to door is broken. Freely hanging, wont engage it. Ill see if the wrecked hhr has 1 in better shape that I can swap over

 

They explode very easily. I might be worth your time to fashion a new housing with an led. I bet at least 80% of them are broken or melted.

 

See , Oldblue had that same dome light out back above the cargo area, it didn’t have switches for reading lights just push the lens , I think

This switch is broken on mine, everything else works as it should.
