Hey Taylor, if you have an insurance policy that covers depreciation you could always trying wrecking the vehicle. I have two year depereciation and my insurance will pay the full purchase price if I'm involved in an accident.

Actually, I'm just kidding about wrecking the car. Not necessarily the greatest idea.

Too bad to hear about your problems, I too ended up in the same boat as you but I have learned to live with my purchase.

454Taylor sounds like a chevy man
Well check this out as far as a purchase of an HHr
I guess I got lucky, I purchased my Z ride with out looking in to the HHr and with out even test driving it, When I purchased mine I found out about it when I drove it, I just liked to Style and the look and it came with a 4 cyl. but then again I purchased mine with everything except On Star.

I am sorry to hear the you were not as lucky as I , So take it back and get what you want after all you are paying for it, So if you keep it then you must like it.

I am the type of person that if I want something on ths car and they can put it on my Ride then I will have it.

Good luck with your purchase but I will tell you one thing. You will meet and make more friends with this HHr then any other vehicle you will ever purchase, I don't know why but this is very true. So I hope you give the HHr a chance and if not take it back, Your paying for it.

Please for give me I for got to say Welcome to the HHr Site

I have little choice but to live with my purchase decison. I just hope when the 3/36,000 runs out all the electrical and mechanical issues are repaired. Those BCM's are expensive! I wonder what additional value loss will occur after all the paint is worn off the rear door/fenders? Wonder if it will rust? Too bad GM does not at least tell you about this up front, instead of after you "buy" it. They (GM) did pay 1/2 for factory splash guards that do nothing to help. My dealer is excellent we will see as time passes.

Wait a minute I read that the 2007 had a much better warranty isn't it 5 yrs or 6 yrs with 60,000 miles

Geez!

: Wow! And I thought women were hard to please. There are some changes I would like to see, but not not enough to even think about getting rid of my new HHR. An Oh Crap handle would be nice, a place to put an ashtray is needed for the smokers, and the window controls I am learning to live with. But I agree with the others, it's a heck of a car for the $$$$$$$
