You should have a choice of where you want to get it fixed. I would think about taking it to a good Chevy dealer.

Sorry to hear of your accident but glad to hear you are ok.

Well, I dropped off the HHR today at the body shop, which I have very high hopes for. They were very courteous and the office was presented in a very upscale manor. They should be calling us with an estimate soon. They said, best case, it's done by Friday, but shouldn't be any later than next Tuesday. The rental car is a 2006 Saturn ION, pictured below. The HHR is mine, waiting to be pulled around back to have its ass taken apart. In the mean time, I'm driving my father's 2006 Malibu. I absolutely hate how it drives. I'd rather be on a tricycle. I can't wait to get my HHR back.

I got a call today from the body shop, saying that it should be ready for pick-up on Tuesday, and their initial estimate is $1,500. Personally, I think that's a bit conservative, but they're the experts. On a side note, I had an incredible dream last night that I traded in my HHR for a white one with a sunroof (my dream HHR at this point), haha. If only I weren't $6,000 upside down in this one...

You know, now thinking about it, hasn't a lot of the accidents been HHR's getting hit in the back ????

HHhhhmmmmmmm
It sure does seem like there are a lot of people driving around with their head up their "arse" doesn't it!! Every time you're stopped anywhere you have to keep your fingers crossed that those behind you are paying attention!

Im glad that your 0k...Unfortunately we went through the same thing recently. My daughter took the HHR out to do some errands and ended up hydroplanning the ride into an embankment doing about 45...Needless to say its totalled and now we are fighting with the GAP coverage people and the insurance people over it. By the way for those that dont know what GAP coverage is...its to so called Cover the difference between what the insurance pays and what is owed when the vehicle is totalled...However...there are a list of stipulations and we are still upside down by $1800...and yes we are fighting it...

But no one was hurt in our incident either and Im glad your ok with your accident...
