Not to keep bringing it up but the smell comes from the MILDEW in the ducts, you HAVE to kill the MILDEW if you want the smell to be COMPLETELY gone.

Adding air freshners is just putting a band aid on an amputated arm it might cover it up but it DOESN'T fix the problem!! Kill the mildew, kill the problem!!

This can be a common problem when only using the recirculate mode. Always switch it from recirculate about 5 minutes from the end of your trip as it will then use all fresh new air and dry out the ducts better. This seems to be a big problem on some of the Toyota sites and they recomend not using recirculate at all.

Should be fine after this, common issue, you just have some mildew growing and surviving off the condensation in the duct-work. Next time run your vent for the last 5 minutes of your trip or so to help lower the amount of condensation in the ducts.

Yup should have been a product called "Fridge-Fresh" or something similar, but it is nothing more than a disenfecting spray such as Lysol. And the technician would do the EXACT procedure as I stated earlier.

As far as the recirculation intake goes, it is under the dash on the passenger side floor board. It is a black plastic duct that has an angled cut on it.

Dory has been through at least 4 hurricanes and 3 tropical storms, you'd be surprised where 75+ MPH winds will force leaves!
